In our fast-paced world, it can be easy to get caught up in letting things just run for the sake of. There is always so much on the go and the ability to see through the craziness takes time, something which we think we don’t have much of but it’s during times like these that we should practice reflection.

Have you ever felt like you are running on auto pilot or that you have something else that is driving your next decision?

Recognising this feeling of over drive is a difficult one. It’s not easy to take your foot off the accelerator and ask a few deeper questions around the actions that you are taking rather than just continuing to hit the next corner at speed and ride the road in front of you.

So, when you feel like you’re on a treadmill and not sure what it is you are doing, see if you are able to hit the pause button and reset. Because when you get started again you may just have learnt a thing or three.
